This Internet service is provided by members from Bible-based, non-denominational,
Christian or Church of Christ congregations in mid-Michigan, which have roots in the
American Restoration Movement.  That movement, which dates back to the late 1700s, has
endeavored to move Christian congregations away from cultural or dogmatic traditions, and
back to Bible-inspired principles.

Some of the linked congregations and institutions have served the Greater Lansing Area for more than
50 years, with ministries constantly increasing and expanding to meet community needs.  The
members of these local Christian congregations have discovered the joy of growing together as
Christians as well as providing opportunities for all to seek a fully committed relationship with Christ
Jesus.  All of the churches listed are open to anyone seeking God's blessing, wishing to worship Him
or desiring to learn more about God, our Lord Jesus or The Holy Spirit.

NOTICE: This Website is Being Phased OUT!!!

(Unless a New Webservant Is Found)

After many years of coordinating the online publishing of this Website and its many extensions, it has come time for me to step down.  Two basic reasons dictate this change: First is my age; after many years at the helm it is time for me to retire.  Second is the changing technology.  I’m still using an old XP computer with obsolete applications which are not compatible with many new computers, tablets and mobile devices, nor many of the newer web browsers.

Cost of maintaining the website is minimal and I would consider continuing to support the site financially.  Time investment is also minimal, usually only 8 to 12 hours each month.  However, these are mostly at the end of the month and conflict with other responsibilities.
The new Webservant should be able to compose material with an application compatible with Windows 8 Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.  Also, more and more people are accessing internet information on mobile devices such as smart phones.  Websites need special design elements to accommodate this shift in technology.  At this point my choice is to acquire new equipment, applications and update my technical knowledge considerably – OR – turn Website responsibilities over to someone capable of handling contemporary technologies.  The other option is to simply phase out this Website as well as its various extensions.
If interested, email your qualifications to: Webservant.  One requirement is being a Christian, meeting the criteria set forth in scripture (see
