The First Friday Night FREE Movie Party
for February will screen a Sean Connery double feature exploring two
of his movies shot after his many “007” films as James Bond. The first,
shown at 7 p.m., is “Medicine
Man,” a drama with lots of humorous moments co-starring Lorraine Bracco. Some say that Bracco
had her best role in this film. At 9
p.m. it’s “Just Cause,” a crime thriller co-starring
Laurence Fishburne (currently starring on TV’s CSI),
which will keep you on the edge of your seat. The films are projected
on a super-wide screen. In addition to the free movies, there will be
free popcorn and beverages. Participants may also bring their own

Revenge of the Space Pandas or Binky
Rudich and the Two-Speed Clock at the Mid
Michigan Family Theatre, 440 Frandor Ave. (west
side of central parking lot), Lansing, Mich. “Binky Rudich,” his friend “Viv,” and
his almost human sheep “Bob,” tinker with a two-speed clock, regarding the
idea that – as “Binky” says – "Time on Earth
moves at the same speed all the time, but there is another speed, a slower
speed, and if we could find it, everything would stand still on Earth and we
would spin off." And they do! To Crestview, the Fourth World
in the Goolagong System, ruled by “George Topax” and guarded by the “Great Space Pandas.” The
excitement really begins when the “Supreme Ruler” commands that “Bob” be
brought to him, never again to leave Goolagong, and
he steals the two-speed clock just to make sure. Shows on Friday
