In addition to other duties, the full-time chaplain at Great Lakes Christian Home conducts traditional worship services every Sunday at 10 a.m. in the GLCH Chapel. The non-denominational services are open to any wishing to participate. Residents are encouraged to invite guests to the chapel services.
The worship service includes the taking of Communion and favorite hymns. Guests speakers are usually invited to prepare those attending for meditation during the taking of Communion. The Chapel services are Bible-based, following the examples set by First Century Christian churches of the New Testament.
A Bible Study and Prayer session is held in the Chapel each Thursday at 10 a.m.
